Synopsis
The people are enraged after the legendary Dracula has stolen all the mirrors in town in yet another mischief. The man used the mirrors and other mechanisms to set up a series of puzzles as defense, to which only he knows the solution. Is there someone brave enough to enter his castle; who can step up and put an end to the town's suffering?
Development
Draculight is a 3D mobile puzzle game developed over roughly eight weeks by a team of students from The Game Assembly Malmö. This was my second project as a game programmer at TGA, and the game was developed in Unity. My largest contribution to the project was creating the light beam and mirrors, and how they interact with each other and other tiles. This included:
・ How to represent the light in plain data
・ Simulating the light through interactions with mirrors, magic shards, and sensors
・ Visualizing the light in-game
・ Interaction between tiles emitting and receiving power, such as sensors, levers, and pistons
