Synopsis
Their slogan sells trust, but behind corporate walls hide droids of death. With regained sentience, you make a desperate attempt to escape your creators' facility in this dystopian first-person shooter.
Development
Project 8 is a fast-paced, strategic first-person shooter made by a team of students from The Game Assembly Malmö. This is my eighth and final project as a game programmer at TGA.
Following my specialization project (which consisted of implementing support for creating scenes and prefabs in our editor), we have eliminated Unreal from our production pipeline in favour of our editor. For our final project, I am continuing my work on RockSolid Editor for improved user experience and workflow, which will be my main area of responsibility.
